From 6 to 8 October 2026, the international aluminium industry will gather at ALUMINIUM 2026 in Düsseldorf. SCHUPP® Ceramics will be exhibiting there for the first time this year.
Hall 6 | Stand 6A57
Under the theme ‘Reliable high-temperature insulation for aluminium furnaces and heat treatment’, we will be presenting solutions for the thermal insulation and process control of aluminium furnaces and heat treatment plants.
PCW insulation for demanding furnace applications
With ITM-Fibermax® blankets, UltraBoard insulation boards, customised UltraVac moulded parts and FiberPlast high-temperature adhesives, SCHUPP® Ceramics offers a coordinated PCW insulation system for a range of requirements in furnace construction and operation.
The polycrystalline mullite/aluminium oxide wool (PCW) used is characterised, amongst other things, by low shrinkage, high dimensional stability, low thermal conductivity and high chemical resistance.
At the exhibition, we will also be introducing our new UltraBoard UB 1400-300P insulation board for applications up to 1,400 °C.
Process control with PTCR
In addition to insulation, the focus is on the reliable monitoring of thermal processes. Our Process Temperature Control Rings (PTCR) measure the actual thermal load – known as ‘heat work’ – during the heat treatment process.
This enables you to identify differences between batches, furnace zones and process settings, as well as to check and document process quality and reproducibility.
Visit us at ALUMINIUM 2026 and speak to our team about your application, your furnace or your current project.
